A French guy in Capri

Capri is an island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea, on the south side of the Gulf of Naples in the Campania region of Italy. It has been a resort since Roman times.20160912_180052

It is a truly stunning little island, the stuff of Hollywood blockbusters and honeymoons. In fact, it is reminiscent of the paradise on Earth James Bond inevitably retreats to with his girlfriend at some point during the movie, just to make sure he definitely gets laid.20160912_180318

We went to Capri for the day via the Port of Naples. Boats are very regular from early morning to late at night, and shouldn’t cost more than €20 return (or 100 post-Brexit pounds). As it’s a well known destination for local tourists, it is generally easy to get to and back.

20160912_180342Capri itself is very expensive, a hub of fashion designer stores laid out in the sun, so that Mr can warm up alongside his credit card while Mrs tries on dresses.
